My name is Gracie Phillips, and I am a junior in the Hospitality Event Management program. Originally from nearby Montgomery, Alabama, I have been so grateful to call Auburn home for the past three years. After beginning my college career in the pre-med program, I made the decision to follow a different path and transitioned into Hospitality Management after my freshman year. That leap of faith quickly turned into a true passion, and I have fallen in love with every aspect of the hospitality industry. I come from a family rooted in Southern hospitality, and studying this field has allowed me to dive deeper into the legacy that has shaped me into the woman I am today. Event planning and creating meaningful connections with people have become the parts of hospitality that I cherish most, and I am expectant to see what the future holds! I am incredibly excited for this year’s Hospitality Gala and cannot wait to help bring this special experience to life!
